UK (Scotland): Schools miss language targets

 

Three-quarters of Scottish primary schools are missing recommended targets for the delivery of modern languages, a new study shows.

An expert group set up to boost the study of French, Spanish, Italian and German in primaries said in 2001 that schools should be delivering about 75 minutes of teaching a week. View the whole article
