Sofia. Bulgaria is well placed in the EU in multilingualism. That is what Sevdalina Voynova Director at Association for Sofia Development Programs told FOCUS News Agency.
“ On January 18 we will present the Linguistic Diversity in the City, which merge two projects - one is called Language rich Europe and is headed on behalf of Bulgarian by the British Council and the other project is called LUCID by the Bulgarian side is headed of the Association for Sofia Development”, Voynova said.
“Both projects are funded under the Lifelong Learning and represent a better coordination between teams from different countries that address the same topic - the topic of multilingualism. Both projects are based on the desire of the European community for all its citizens to speak three languages - mother tongue plus two more and want to encourage the study of foreign languages”, said Voynova.
