EFNIL at the META-FORUM 2016 Conference
EFNIL was represented at the META-FORUM 2016 'Beyond Multilingual Europe' Conference, which was held on July 04/05, 2016 in Lisbon, Portugal.
The META-FORUM 2016 Conference invited EFNIL and NPLD (European Network to Promote Linguistic Diversity) to take part in a panel discussion entitled 'Multilingual Europe: News and Recent Developments from the Language Communities’. During the discussion Sabine Kirchmeier presented the new Joint NPLD-EFNIL Position paper on 'Language and Technology’.
Additionally, EFNIL presented at the conference a poster about the activities and main goals of the Organisation. New flyers were also distributed among the participants.
