Location: Research Institute for Linguistics, Hungarian Academy of Sciences

Currently I am a junior researcher at the Department of Language Technology at the Research Institute for Linguistics (HAS). Besides, I am doing my PhD at the Department of Theoretical Linguistics of Eötvös Loránd University. The basic objective of my thesis is to anchor meanings of words or phrases to surface distributional data. I am especially interested in the semantic and syntactic properties of verbs and in related applications, particularly in word sense disambiguation. I was involved in a project on WSD at the Xerox Research Centre Europe in the spring semester of 2008.
